Add live Google reviews or YouTube videos to Framer
Add a Framer Embed component, paste the TileSet snippet into its HTML section, publish, and your site shows live Google reviews or YouTube videos.
Add it to a page
- In TileSet, build your widget and copy the snippet: a script tag and a
div. - In Framer, open the Insert menu, search for Embed and drag the Embed component to where the feed should go.
- In the component’s HTML section, paste both lines of the snippet.
- Give the component the width you want and enough height for the feed on the canvas.
- Publish the site and open the published page. Framer runs scripts only in the browser, not in the editor, so the feed shows on the published site.
Paste both lines in the same box
Keep the script tag and the div together in the one Embed component. That is the way Framer’s help describes adding a script to a page. Several feeds on one page work the same way: one Embed component per widget, each with the full snippet.
What Custom Code is for
Framer’s Custom Code settings add a script to the head or body of the whole site, or of chosen pages. That is the place for scripts that need no spot on the page. It cannot put a div where you want the feed, so TileSet uses the Embed component.
Styling it to match
In TileSet you can set columns, the gap between tiles, corner radius and light or dark, so the feed sits in your design without extra CSS. Set the widget to match the background of your page.
Check it works
- Publish the site and open the live page once in your browser, so the widget loads.
- On the widget’s Install tab, paste the page’s address into Check my page and press Check.
If the box stays empty on the published page, check that you pasted both lines and that the component is tall enough. More in Install the snippet.
