Link in bio

A page of your own for your social profile bio: your links, plus blocks from your sources that update by themselves. One page is free, with an address we assign; Starter and up choose their own. It uses no credits.

A Link in bio page is one address to put in your profile bio. It shows your picture, your name and a short bio, your link buttons and social icons, and blocks drawn from the sources you already connected. Here is an example page.

Make your page

  1. Open Link in bio in the sidebar.
  2. Your Address: your page lives at app.tileset.com/@ and its name. On the free plan your page is given a short name of its own when you publish, like app.tileset.com/@k7m2qx, and the field shows it locked. On Starter and up, choose your own: 3 to 30 lowercase letters, digits or hyphens. The line under it says whether it is free. Our own pages, staff words and brand names, ours included, are reserved, and so are the names of our own services, such as www, mail, status and shop.
  3. Add your Name, a short Bio and a Picture: the web address of an image, starting with https (on your website, right-click your logo and choose Copy image address),.
  4. In Look, pick a Theme (Bento, Paper, Forest or Sunset), Light or dark (Auto follows each visitor’s own setting) and the finer style (see Make it yours).
  5. Add blocks, then press Publish page. The preview on the right shows the page as visitors will see it, as you type.

Turn off Show this page in search engines to keep a paid page out of Google and other search engines. Free pages are never listed.

Press Copy link and paste it into your profile’s bio, or QR code for a code to print on a menu, a flyer or a shop window.

Or ask your AI agent: “Make me a TileSet Link in bio page with my shop link and my latest YouTube videos”. It uses create_bio_page, add_bio_blocks, update_bio_page and list_bio_pages, and can change every setting on this screen, the look included (see MCP tools).

Under Look, after the theme:

Setting Choices
Colour (Starter and up) Your own colour for buttons, links and highlights, picked in the colour box. Match my logo reads the main colour of a logo file in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Theme colour goes back to the theme’s own
Fonts Modern, Editorial (serif headings), Friendly (rounded) or Typewriter (mono headings and buttons)
Background Glow, Solid, Gradient (from your colour) or, on Starter and up, Picture: your page’s picture, or the newest picture of a source you choose, blurred behind the page
Buttons Card, Filled, Outline or Soft
Corners Rounded, Pill or Square
Picture shape and size Circle, Rounded or Square; Medium, Small or Large
Spacing Comfortable or Compact
Header Centred, or picture and name side by side

Every choice stays readable: we darken or lighten your colour where needed so the words on your page and on its buttons have enough contrast, in light and in dark, and on a picture background your name, bio and headings sit on a card. The fonts are the ones already on your visitors’ phones, so nothing extra downloads and the page stays fast. There is no custom code: every choice is one of the options above.

Blocks

BlockWhat it shows
Link buttonYour words on a button, with an optional emoji icon or a small picture at its start: a picture's web address, or a picture you upload (it is made small, about 100 pixels, and kept with your page, up to 10 a page). A picture can carry a short description for people using a screen reader. The button can have its own colour, from ten presets or any colour you pick, and its words turn black or white, whichever reads better. Starter and up: show it only from a date and time, hide it after one, or keep it at the top until a date
Social iconsRound icons for the profile links you add, plus every connected account's own profile (turn Add my connected accounts automatically off to show only yours)
Latest postsA grid or a swipeable row of a source's newest posts, 3 to 12
Newest post as a cardA source's newest post, video or episode as a big card, with a New tag for the days you choose
ReviewsYour star rating from a Google, testimonials source, and one recent review; another takes its turn every hour

A link or a social icon takes a full web address starting with https:// (or http://). To keep visitors safe, we refuse an address with a user name or password in it, a bare IP address, and one spelled with letters that only look like normal ones, such as a Cyrillic а in place of a Latin a in a well-known name. That is a common trick of fake sites. If your address is refused, type it with plain letters or copy it from the site itself. A real address in another alphabet, such as a German or Russian one, works.

Reorder blocks by dragging the handle at the left of a block (mouse or touch), or focus the handle and press the up or down arrow key; Up and Down do the same. Change one with Edit: the block you are editing is outlined, and the preview scrolls to it. Remove takes it off. The new order is saved with the page.

It updates by itself

Blocks are drawn from what your sources already hold, so when a source updates, your page follows: a new post appears, the featured card moves to your newest video. A scheduled link appears and disappears on time. Changes you save show within a minute.

Credits

A Link in bio page uses no credits. It never fetches from Google, YouTube or any other platform itself; it shows what your sources already fetched on their own schedule. Visits to your page count as views of those sources, so a source you only show on your bio page keeps updating.

Clicks and views

Under the editor, Clicks and views shows how many times the page was opened and how many times each link button was clicked, for the last 7 days (30 and 90 days on Starter and up). Every link button goes through a short redirect on our side that counts the click and sends the visitor on, only ever to the address you saved.

Pages on the free plan are not listed by search engines, which keeps spam pages from using our address to rank.

Change the address or delete the page

On Starter and up, change Address and save: the old address keeps sending visitors to the new one for 30 days, and no other account can take it for a year after that. When you move from an assigned address to your own, the assigned one keeps sending visitors to your page for good, so a QR code you already printed keeps working.

You can change a custom address once every 90 days. The field shows the day you can change it again, and the first time you pick your own address after an assigned one does not count as a change.

Keeping your name after you stop paying

An address you chose on a paid plan stays with your page when your subscription ends: paying for one month buys your name. It keeps working, and nobody else can take it, for as long as the page is in use, meaning someone has viewed it or you have edited it in the last 12 months, and your account exists. Changing it to another custom address needs Starter or up again.

If a page on a plan without custom addresses goes a year without a view or an edit, we email you and show a notice on the Link in bio screen first. If it is still unused 30 days later, the page moves to a short assigned address. The old name sends visitors there for 30 days, and another account can take it only a year after that, so a printed QR code never leads to a stranger’s page. Opening or editing the page cancels the release.

If you have more pages than the free plan includes, the extra ones stay live at their addresses but become read-only: you cannot edit them until you upgrade or delete the ones you do not need. The oldest page stays editable.

Delete this page takes it down at once; its address stays reserved for you for 30 days, and for a year after that no other account can take it, so nobody else picks up the links you shared. Deleting your whole account holds its page addresses the same way.

Report a page

Every page has Report this page at the bottom. Our team reads every report and can turn a page off. A page our team turned off cannot be deleted or moved to another address by its owner; contact support from Help to ask about it.

Your data

Your pages are part of your data export and are deleted with your account. Agents and API keys can set up and change a page, but never read the content it shows.
